The upcoming Symposium in March 2018 already marks the 30th Anniversary of the Symposium series on Plasma Physics and Radiation Technology! Plans are well underway to present again a compelling line-up of featured speakers and lots of networking opportunities.

The Symposium on Plasma Physics and Radiation Technology is an annual event that brings together the Dutch scientists working in this field which covers amongst others applications in the realm of physics, chemistry, biomedicine and technology. Although mainly aimed at scientists working at Dutch Universities, Research Institutes and Companies, the meeting is open to scientists from abroad. The Symposium is always organized in conference centre De Werelt in Lunteren.

The meeting is subdivided into four sessions, focused on Fundamentals, Theory and Modeling, Diagnostics, Extreme Plasmas and Applications. Each session includes a keynote invited lecture by a renowned scientist, followed by three short oral presentations selected out of the submitted abstracts. Additionally there will be two posters sessions where all participants can show and discuss their scientific work.

We appreciate everyone’s enthusiasm for our Symposium Series and hope you will join us in Lunteren for this special jubileum edition of the Symposium on Plasma Physics and Radiation Technology!
